1 oz coconut milk
1 oz Rhum Agricole Blanc ❼
½ oz batavia arrack
Shake // Open pour // Top with ice

My take on the original Ube Bae from False Idol in San Diego. I was there visiting friends a year ago and loved this one: nutty, toasted grains, and spiciness from both tiki-style liqueurs and the lighter base spirits. In trying to recreate it I made something totally new, but similar to my memory. The color comes form the Ube powder, a purple sweet potato whose color shifts pink when exposed to acidity.
