A large part today's route was along the historical TT route. This is a route for tourists which closely follows the route which the Assen TT used to take. We also cycled a few dozen extra km. The motorcycle race moved onto a special track many years ago, but there are signs in the countryside which show the original route through the countryside for cars, motorcyclists and cyclists. We've all lived in the area for many years but none of us had actually followed this route before.
