So, it finally happened. After months of prep and work to add solar eclipse features in Photo Ephemeris, we finally got to see the April 8 total eclipse! We t

Eclipse day in Georgetown, Texas saw mostly cloudy to cloudy conditions until five minutes before C2 and then clear skies during totality until a few minutes after C3. It became completely overcast after that.

I got some great views through my telescope, especially the sunspots and solar prominence at the north edge of the Sun, sharing the views with 13 guests. Not many photos though.
