Wofür ist eigentlich der #Halseinstellstab (#Trussrod) bei einer #Gitarre?

Das Holz allein würde irgendwann dem Saitenzug nachgeben. Der Einstellstab wirkt dieser Kraft entgegen und sorgt dafür, dass Dein Gitarren- oder #Basshals die genau richtige Krümmung hat und hält.
Manchmal kann eine neue Einstellung nötig sein (z.B. andere #Saiten, anderes Klima, Instrument umgekippt…).

I have been playing guitar since 1986. Today was the first time I adjusted a truss rod myself. Hell, it was the first time I even took off cover.

I think it worked. I had a nasty fret buzz on my ES-335 down around the second fret. I think it’s better now. Crossing my fingers.

Funny things that happen to newbie #guitarists...

So, My 2021 Les Paul needs a truss rod adjustment, thanks to the arrival of winter weather.

Imagine my surprise when I grabbed an allen wrench, then removed the truss rod cover. 😕 🤦

Next I ordered a 5/16" truss rod wrench. Like ya do.
