This article from Turku University has already been fully banned for several days in the Finnish #facebook.

The article details the public education programs such political parties, comparing the German #afd and Finnish #truefinns, finding commonalities in for example anti-intellectualism.

I suspect #bot armies were used in overwhelming #moderation staff.

Going into government with the hard-right #TrueFinns Party, prime minister Orpo assured the people of #Finland there was going to be: ”Zero tolerance for #racism under his government’s stay.”

When time for action arrives, True Finns leader Riikka Purra states that: ”they don’t believe True Finns will be participating in the government’s anti-racism drive.” When press asked the prime minister whether True Finns would be participating, he replied: ”I don’t know actually.”

In #Finland the #TrueFinns lost half of their support in the #EU election, #SwedishDemocrats did also loose their support (not as much) in #Sweden

In many other countries the #farright parties gained a lot of votes thanks to the support from #russia with #fakenews and #disinformation

But you ask #truefinns what were they posting in 2017? They won’t remember.

It was Russia Today and MV Lehti, both Russian #disinformation staples.

The conservative, far-right apologeptic #truefinns party has been in government for mere months, and already the country has changed.

We are now experiencing the result of moving the overton window of acceptable speech:

”No western country ever has been succesfull at integrating refugees.” was today said live on national televison.

I cannot understate the falsity of that statement and the racist undertone supposed. An immigrant is simply never enough.
