#Typhoon #Saola (#GoringPH) gets knocked down to C2 status, although the JMA maintains the previous intensity.
#HurricaneFranklin looks stellar as it makes a run for Category 5 status, though it is officially forecast to become a high-end C4 with winds of 135 knots or 155mph. Bermuda may be affected by TS-force winds. Truly remarkable.
Around the globe, 6 TCs are active; #Idalia and #Saola (#GoringPH) are the biggest threats. #Franklin is expected to move away to sea although Bermuda may be affected.
Invest #93L is expected to become a tropical depression or storm late this weekend into early next week, as conditions seem conductive for further development of this system. GWES Forecasting will be closely monitoring this one!
