US millionaire trophy hunter Ernie Dosio, 75, was trampled to death by a herd of elephants in Gabon while out hunting a rare antelope.
The elephants were protecting their calf.
Karma doesn't miss.

You don't often hear about wild animals scoring a win quite like this in human-animal conflict. When it involves a rich, entitled knob who thinks committing gun crimes against animals is "sport", that's a reason for celebration.
The serial killer, who had a history of murdering elephants and lions, had invaded the territory of five adult female elephants and a baby elephant. The adults successfully defended their young. They had to act quickly, so in lieu of the traditional means of dispensing with an unwanted millionaire by guillotine, they improvised and trampled him to death. Contrary to popular belief, the soles of elephants' feet are very sensitive, so I hope they didn't experience any discomfort from stepping on the trash.
Returnal first session log:
This game is definitely creepy. I managed to complete the first biome and killed the first boss on my first run after the tutorial.
The vertical laser caught me a few times but I managed to kill it at one hit left HP. So tense. The second group of mobs at the desert finished the job.
I will definitely try to go as far as I can with this game. I hope I don't get tired to fast of dying and losing all progress, it usually happens to me with roguelikes.

Use of biodiversity does involve trade-offs. But complexity does not justify analytical shortcuts. Trade-offs do not justify false equivalence. And regulatory structure and adaptive management without transparent rules does not substitute for ecological evidence.

Commercial hunting tour operators openly advertise #wolf #trophyhunting in Bulgaria, Poland, and Russia.
#Speciesprotection law protects animals from commercial trade, not from hobby hunters willing to pay large sums of money for the privilege of killing a protected animal. The distinction between "commercial trade" and "personal use" may be legally sound, but it is ecologically and ethically absurd.

From a perspective critical of hunting, #trophyhunting is emblematic of a profound failure of #wildlife conservation and ethical treatment of wild #animals. The marketing and pricing of kills reduce highly developed, social animals like elephants and lions to mere consumer goods for wealthy hunting tourists. According to many #animalwelfare organizations, this practice not only violates German animal welfare law but also fundamental principles of #speciesconservation.
