I set up my very first #linux #server today!
Based on #debian #trixie , it gave me a bit of a headache, but the moment all has been sorted out and the remote access worked like a charm (that itself wasn't a problem, but to log into #ssh after assigning a static IP address was.
I'll try to setup #jellyfin and see how it goes :)
But at the moment, even Neo has nothing on me, lol

Hat auch nach Standardprozedur geklappt. Die von Nextcloud gewünschten PHP-Module mussten allerdings händisch nachinstalliert werden. Nextcloud war nach dem Upgrade erst einmal nicht erreichbar, das nicht durchgeführte 'a2enconf php8.4-fpm' war das Problem – danach lief wieder alles. 👍

Today i finally upgraded my second #odroidhc4 with #armbian to #trixie as well.
This device runs a bare armbian with the tech stack required for #nextcloud (Apache2, PHP, MariaDB, Valkey).

The device is pretty fast given the low-power ARM SoC and works absolutely fine for my 5 user nextcloud instance.

35 Debian LTS advisories were released in February fixing 527 CVEs across various packages. These include security fixes for gnutls28, xrdp, ClamAV, tomcat9, zabbix, linux kernel, ceph, glib2.0, MUNGE and many more.

Debian LTS contributors also prepared updates for more recent releases, Debian 12 (#bookworm) , Debian 13 (#trixie) and Debian unstable. In addition, improvements were made to documentation and tooling used by the team.

The Debian LTS Team, funded by [Freexian’s Debian LTS offering] (https://www.freexian.com/lts/debian/), is pleased to report its activities for February. Activity summary During the month of February, 20 contributors have been paid to work on Debian LTS (links to individual contributor reports are located below). The team released 35 DLAs fixing 527 CVEs. We also welcomed Arnaud Rebillout to the team and had to say farewell to Roberto, who left the team after more than nine years as part of it.

Frage an die Experten. Ich habe einen 12 Jahre alten Acer neu aufgesetzt. Früher Linux Mint, jetzt debian 13.3, Standard Installation mit Mate-Desktop.
Früher war Reboot und Power Off einwandfrei. Mit debian13 schaltet der Laptop nicht mehr aus und rebootet nicht mehr!

Siehe Bilder.
Der Lappy bleibt an dieser Stelle bis zum "St.-Nimmerleins-Tag" hängen. Nichts geht mehr (CTRL-ALT-ENF etc...), nur hart Ausschalten (Power 10sec. halten)

Was kann ich noch tun? Ist mir noch nicht untergekommen.
