“Au Creux de Ma Main” : Tennin revisite “Heal You” dans une version française intime

Tennin, artiste indépendante française, évolue dans un univers mêlant indie R&B alternatif et alt-pop. Après avoir partagé ses compositions sur scène puis en studio, elle publie en 2019 le single “Heal You” sur le label False Idols, fondé par Tricky, ancien membre de Massive Attack, dans le cadre de la compilation Test of Time. En 2020, elle collabore avec le label parisien Kitsuné Music pour le single “Guys In Tears”. Son parcours s’inscrit dans une recherche artistique affirmée, guidée par la devise : « Art to free the mind ».

Son univers sonore, teinté de textures cinématographiques, exprime une tension constante entre fragilité et force. Ses chansons abordent la résilience, l’identité et l’expérience vécue, transformant blessures et questionnements en matière musicale. À travers son art, Tennin affirme que la vocation artistique ne dépend ni d’un label ni d’une appartenance, mais d’un élan intérieur. Cette ligne directrice irrigue l’ensemble de son travail.

Avec “Au Creux de Ma Main”, l’artiste propose une relecture en français de son titre “Heal You”. Entre pop alternative, atmosphères aériennes et approche organique, cette nouvelle version explore un moment suspendu où l’on peut relâcher la pression et accueillir sa vulnérabilité. Le morceau invite à se délester du négatif pour retrouver une forme d’harmonie intérieure. Il se présente comme un geste de douceur, une respiration destinée à libérer l’esprit.

Produit, composé et écrit par Tennin, le titre s’appuie sur la guitare, le mix et le mastering de Stephy Lokua, ainsi que sur le piano d’Adrien Sam. La pochette est signée Mathilde Veyrunes. Cette adaptation conserve l’essence introspective de l’original tout en lui offrant une nouvelle résonance linguistique et émotionnelle. Un clip accompagne cette sortie.

Avec “Au Creux de Ma Main”, Tennin revisite son propre répertoire en approfondissant son exploration de l’intime. Cette version française prolonge la démarche initiée en 2019 avec “Heal You”, tout en affirmant une identité artistique cohérente. Une nouvelle étape dans un parcours placé sous le signe de la sincérité et de la résilience.

This week it’s time for #Renewal

Greentea Peng, “I AM (Reborn)” from TELL DEM IT'S SUNNY (2025)

I think it was during last year’s World Series when I heard an absolutely SLAMMIN hook in a commercial, intoning:

I kept watching, trigger finger on Shazam ready to get the track ID the next time - and then I had it. The artist? Greentea Peng.

I’m sorry, What-tea who? Man, do I feel old.

Anyway, I found this is her third full-length album, and from what I can tell from bits I’ve found online, the most diverse. She’s worked with Nightmares on Wax, added vocals on a track by Lee "Scratch" Perry, and been remixed by Tricky - quite the pedigree in my sonic worldview. I hear a lot of similarities with Tricky in his more experimental moments, but with at times more warmth, and at others, as in this track, more DRIVE.
