It has been exacerbated by all presidents since then, #Democrats and #Republicans, alike. 40+ years of #neoliberal economic policy has resulted in a wealth transfer from the poor, middle class to the millionaires and billionaires. Where #Dow and #FTSE were the gods on whose altar wealth of middle class and affordability were slaughtered in hopes of #TrickleDownEconomics.

The reckoning is over due.

@clarissadelune I'm not sure if you're unironically using "trickle-down economics" as a legitimate term. It's a mocking-rhetoric for a deeper argument used to promote Liberal Economics to cut taxes to the rich, create a small government, not paying public services and assests, selling everything to the private sector, etc. Which is all about funnelling cashflow to the rich, at the expense of everyone else.
