While I currently don't have access to my previous files this week, I still managed to make some progress.
I really wanted to try using a triangle grid, though subdividing doesn't work that well, so I made this #triangle #grid #generator today.
The only issue I then still had, is that I can't paint / assign vertex groups directly onto the mesh, and so I tried something else: transferring them from a "master" mesh
