My TIR has greatly improved since going on bolus #insulin. I'm still limiting myself but I'm also going outside my doc's prescription given the amount of insulin actually dispensed from the pharmacy.

I suspect if I completely adopt carb counting dosing my TIR will significantly improve further. So I plan to discuss skipping sliding scale with doc.

I've also managed to start dialing back my basal insulin. I'm suspecting my TDD won't be that high.

Cautiously optimistic I nailed my first use of rapid #insulin.

I might have to lower my #Tresiba dose. Which I was kinda thinking might be a possibility.

Keeping hyposnacks by the bed just in case. I should be reaching the end of the activity of the #Lyumjev though.

And this #dexcom #g7 sensor session is apparently sensitive to pressure. I rolled onto my right side at some point, and now I’m 70 (up from LOW). Granted I had a light dinner (salad) and no snack last night, so I’m not *shocked* I went low, just that I went *that* low.

So thanks to the alarms going off, I’m now watching the finale of #CoupleToThrouple then I’ll hit the shower and have real breakfast instead of the snacky seed/nut mix I keep nearby. #t2d #mounjaro #tresiba #novolog #hypo

Starting to have overnight low BG. Already titrating the Tresiba down pretty aggressively. Actually treated last night’s low, which I haven’t needed to do since I was on Basaglar suffering “lantus lows”.

Taking advantage of it this morning with a hot breakfast. Chicken potato breakfast burrito and hashbrowns.

It seems like something in my body just suddenly decided to wake up.

Accidentally blunted my insulin needle, causing slow flow. Changed needles after the pen indicated it dispensed 4U. Not sure if I actually got that 4U though.

New needle flowed correctly. Logged it as the intended dose.
