I usually recommend #OSMand to the more tech-savvy. #organicmaps to 'less digitalized' (and iPhone users). And/or by intended activity. e.g. hiking rural areas: #organicmaps. I am fan of both! Maybe comparing them doesn't do each app right: power or simplicity..
Sharing? Not sure what you mean. Export GPX , share with e.g. Signal, open in other app has worked for me. Will check out #Trekarta!

Examples:
- every ui element gets introduced on first use
- good use of tap and tap-and-hold (roughly: toggle vs configure)
- a very interesting widget design to fine-tune showing amenities without losing oversight
- the interface stays very clean which is important for mapping applications.

Это удобная , красивая, быстрая приложуха для вашего гиперэтичного полукирпича на прошивке от анонимуса , с камерой из 2007го, на основе #osm, с оффлуйн картами чтоб ты не тратил свой бомжеватый траффик с левой симки , а загрузил карты в макдональдсе и шел себе прятаться от камер на митинг спокойно или выкапывать орехи.
Официальное приложение osm к сожалению, почему-то, у меня не заходит.
