A #ThickTrunkTuesday from #Malaysia. I think this was in the Penang Botanic Gardens in George Town. The Flora Incognita app tells me this is a #lychee #tree, nom nom nom.

The Light We Cannot See (2022)

I named this image after a statement a friend made upon seeing it. We had gotten up early and met at a local park with the intent of shooting #landscapephotography together - at the end of the day they felt that had failed to capture an image, and, upon seeing my image asked to purchase a print of it as a reminder of the things we fail to see.

This installation by Silke de Bolle is titled (𝘒)𝘶𝘪𝘦𝘳(𝘦𝘯) – 𝘚𝘱𝘢𝘻𝘪𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘩𝘦𝘯 ((𝘒)𝘶𝘪𝘦𝘳(𝘦𝘯) – 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢 𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘬). It's a play on words with the Dutch terms "uier" (udder) and "kuieren" (going for a walk). Yes, well, I'm udderly confused too. 🐄
