Many of my #treedrawings are black and white, because it's the *shapes* that I'm interested in, and colour can be distracting. But sometimes I just have to include it. This #hollytree is set against a backdrop of glorious sunshine through the leaves of its neighbours. It's all #ink, still: just not always with a pen.
This is another drawing on kaolin-coated board. Using #pigmentink allows me to gently scrape ink off after I've applied it - very useful for creating nuanced shadows and texture.
