Our MEPs have drawn up a 9-point action plan outlining urgent measures to strengthen Europe's ability to defend its values, economy and security.
This is the content of the letter they have sent to European leaders ahead of tomorrow's European Council meeting in Brussels.
Former PMs and other VIPs mince no words in calling for #EUReform:
“European leaders must acknowledge that the EU’s current socio-economic, institutional and, ultimately, political model is not sustainable…
a decision-making process that only produces notable advances during major crises…
political tensions are bound to increase and lead to paralysis of the EU as it faces the prospect of enlargement to 35+ members”

Polska nie chce, by na czwartkowym spotkaniu unijnych ministrów spraw wewnętrznych zapadła decyzja o przedłużeniu tymczasowej ochrony dla uchodźców z Ukrainy do marca 2025 roku – ujawnił w rozmowie z brukselską korespondentką RMF FM Katarzyną Szymańską-Borginon jeden z unijnych dyplomatów. Według naszych ustaleń, władze w Warszawie nie mówią kategorycznego "nie" samemu pomysłowi przedłużenia ochrony. Chciałyby jednak odsunąć w czasie rozstrzygnięcia w tej sprawie i poprzedzić je konsultacjami na szczeblu szefów państw i rządów Unii.
Update: plebes can now access franco-german "Group of Experts" #EU reform proposals in English from a government website. They just held off for a few hours so Mathias Döpfner and the anti-European right-wing tabloid could get some extra clicks and ad revenue.
