When I wake up tomorrow the ramble begins. No sprints for a few days, just sightseeing and poking around. But tonight it's a vegetarian curry with curried fries and a strawberry lassi, followed by a nice long shower and sleep.

I've crossed the Mississippi while listening to The SteelDrivers - Ghosts of Mississippi.
I've gotten off the major highways for this sprint and got to see a lot of...fields. The population density is pretty low along these roads, and then suddenly it's *not* like in Natchez or now, close to Alexandria.
After a quick stop at Bojangles (a Southern treasure) for lunch and a fill up next to it, the next major stop was the visitor centre in Alabama. This is my first time being in this state and while I'll probably only experience the highway of it, at least the road was freshly paved.
Oh right, and the soundtrack switched from OutKast to Gorillaz on my way here.

And food for thought. The Magellanic clouds are the nearest galaxies to our own, extremely prominent naked eye viewable in southern hemisphere dark skies.
They were known to, talked about and even drawn by thousands of first Nations across 3 continents.
So why the hell do we all know them by the name of a dude from Europe?
