60 s onion chop - I don't use this old knife much - but it's totally coming through in travel. Travelled with a few slices and ingredients - picked up fresh green and dried red chillies here (forgot bay leaf) and ghee. And hey -simple Bengali style masoor daal is ready.
Picked up some ingredients at the Indian store - not a great selection. Did get ghee - from New Zealand! And they also had frozen parathas.
Partner still quite miffed that (Indian) store proprietor, after partner asked her for curry leaves, said they only had the dried ones and directed us to neem leaves!
