👋🏻 I’m Richard, a Dubliner by birth and now a Londoner by accident? I live here with my husband. I moved here over 25 years ago to complete a masters degree, but never went back. I never intended to relocate permanently, life just turned out that way. A doctorate, a marriage, a home purchase and setting up my own business mean London is home for now. 🇮🇪 🇪🇺 🏳️🌈
🐘 I signed up for Mastodon back in December 2018 and have loved it since joining. I moved instance to social.lol in March 2026.
🧠 I’m a workplace psychologist (what we call an Occupational Psychologist here in the UK) as well as a Chartered Coaching Psychologist. Basically, I work hard to help my clients thrive at work, manage their stress and wellbeing, become more productive and navigate change.
In terms of what to expect here:

Yes, I’m a passionate traveller and spend as much time as possible in different countries and cities around the world. #Japan is my number favourite destination - I adore #Tokyo - but I have a deep love for Spain too.
📸 I’m also a compulsive photo-taker, always using my iPhone, which is never far from my hand. They’re mostly for me and my journal, but I share the ones that are fun, pretty or meaningful with my followers here. And yes, photos of me navigating airports, train stations and new cities around the world. ✈️
