@wren I’ve been using patches for almost 30 months now. I and my endo specifically chose patches because it’s the gentlest for my body, while being on other meds to keep BP in place as well as anti-anxiety meds too. Oh and I’m #TransOver50 on top of everything else so ramping up injections, while my body’s ecosystem is doing its best to avoid ramping down, might be … risky. At mildest. Turns out that I’m a petite delicate flower after all. *(aahhhahahahahaa)*

It was a gradual up ramp to 0.1 mg a day and that’s where I’ve been for a year that changes have been noticeable. There are boobs, some facial changes have gone softer. E Hormone levels are increasing, T's gone waaay down.

What a week! Diffusing my anger in the best way I know how that doesn't involve a smash room.

The story behind the cat ears begins in a record shop. Said trip was inspired by a dear friend of mine who told me get something that I can wear as my own attitude adjustment when I was in my classic grumpy/grouchy moods. But instead of going for a WWJD bracelet (kind of ridiculous since I'm of a completely different faith tradition entirely) what's got me was finding a set of cat ears I found at the aforementioned shop. The thought of me wearing cat ears at the time -– this was about 13 years ago -- was ridiculous enough that I thought it would be effective. Sure enough, it was! I've kept the #nekoMimi ever since.

Some years later, a colleague at a former place of employment begin a cat ears day. I decided to carry on the tradition myself.

It's ridiculous and fun in all the bright, positive, and uplifting ways. And it pisses off the fa.
