The asteroid named for the goddess Vesta is currently at 10° of fiery Aries, opposite the Trans-Neptunian Object Makemake in Libra, sign of balance and harmony. Vesta asks what we hold sacred, and then aids us in focusing on that. Makemake dares us to brave the unknown as we do so.

An embarrassing problem that’s come up in recent years is a weird one: naming astronomical objects. It used to be easy! There were just a handful of planets, a couple of dozen moons, and some asteroids (comets are named after their discoverers, so no prob there).
