As of Monday, January 29th, I am legally a #transwoman named Adrienne Jade Harper. In that Superior Court office for name changes, I can say I was like one of 4-5 trans people in there doing the same thing. We all had the idea that to do this NOW. Because lord knows when/if we'd get another shot.

I want to make this abundantly clear: if you are a fascist, a fascist-sympathizer, or someone who voted this current regime into power, I am NOT going to mince words at what you did. I'm also feeling mentally drained of social battery lately. Because I've taken it upon myself to get as much documentation changed to reflect I'm a #transgirl that I can while I still can. Health Insurance, Social Security, State ID/Learner's Permit (since I'm learning to drive this year), etc.

It just doesn't leave me a lot of room to actually help with causes and mutual aid that NEEDS to be done to help the #trans community survive.

But once my documentation is set, I'm going to fight like hell to stay alive and help others do the same. Starting small ( #transwomen I personally know).

I've already given a few #transfems who wish to begin their transition no matter what links to where I've accrued my #DIYHRT stockpile (enough to last me a year, by which point me and my family plan to move to a sanctuary state by then).

Because let's be real: these EOs will increase the amount of #HRT is done #DIY in the US by untold numbers. #Trans people aren't stopping their transitions & are a feisty bunch. There's a reason the phrase "death before detransition" is a thing: "I'd rather die than give you control".
