Only 14 days late 😬 Trans Visibility (and representation in media) is the first line of defense and one of the most powerful tools of affirmation for our community. When I was growing up the only trans women I would see on TV were subjects of Jerry Springer or other trash talk show hosts. They were always ridiculed and treated like they weren't even people. Their safety wasn't even considered as they were outed on national TV, in front of partners and loved ones. As a trans person, making sure you are as visible as possible is such a positive way to support and inspire the next generation. Being visible is power. 💖✨😊🧚🏽‍♀️🏳️‍⚧️
