in sort of the opposite of choosing a man vs a bear, i would choose a random trans person over a random police officer to watch my stuff for me for a few minutes while in a public place every goddamn time.
it's not their responsibility to watch my stuff but i trust them more than the group that is supposed to have that responsibility.
Today is Trans Day of Remembrance. On this day we remember our trans siblings who are no longer with us due to transphobia and anti-trans violence. We honour their memory and remind ourselves to fight for the living. We will keep working until all trans people can live happy and fulfilled lives free from transphobia.
