Come support queer arts, independent comic stores, local queer orgs, and the light rail expansion next week. Masking required (a rarity, yay!). We'll be there from noon to 6pm. In June, I'll be doing my first Pride event at Pridefest in Cap Hill!

You Don't Know Transgender Bodies
This piece was from 2018 and when I exploring some light glitches, paint in water, and mixed materials like some dog hair. ๐ At the time I was getting really annoyed by my doctor who was very uniformed on the subject of trans people and was making assumptions about my body that was completely inaccurate.

A Nostalgic Queer in Spring
New piece I put together recently. I was inspired by the naivety of my youth, the coming of spring, and a bit of nostalgia for listening to pirated cassette tapes. I would record songs on the radio and play them on the car stereo.

A Tart Pillow Princess
This one is from 2021 I believe. Did a callback to the Y2K jeans and skirt trend that was so popular in high school, that I never got to participate in because I wasn't out yet! T^T I really enjoy the background texture and how it almost seems to blend into the sweater a bit. Anyway, I don't think the jeans + skirt is for me, but it was fun to try for a photo.
