I have pushed a bunch of changes for HeckWeasel https://heckin.technology/AlderconeStudio/heckweasel which was mostly some cleanup and adding HECKformat support! Now documents and metadata can live together forever. I'm not 1000% happy with how it gets converted to python objects.For the time being given the limitations it works great. I'll have to try something serious like making an entire website before I'm happy I think. Anyways, fun times! 
I have completed an initial implementation of the new HECKformat for Heckweasel (but also anything you want it for) in Python. I'm starting to work on the more convenient API for it, and also the Haxe version, but this will get me going migrating HeckWeasel to HECKformat by default. Yay!
