TL;DR: I've been subjected to abuse from my mother since early childhood. I'm dropping out of college and getting a job to escape. I've made the hard decision to leave my cat behind. The money received will be saved up, and once used, will go into rent and necessities.
Hi, i need help escaping my abusive living situation.
I have an alchoholic emotionally and psychologically abusive mother, who bedrots all day and spends all her money on beer, leaving me to pay for the apartment's utilities. I'm miserable, and have had to withstand her disgusting behaviour my whole life. With how much money she steals from me, i'm left unable to pay for college tuition, and have decided to drop out. Today i signed up for a job scouting agency, and will be counting pennies IF i get a job.
I have an eight month old cat, and while i love him more than i love myself, have decided that i'll have to leave him behind if necessity arises :(
On top of it all, i'm trans, and moving out would be life-saving in more ways than just escaping my abuser. I'd like to transition, but my focus right now is to escape and survive.
I'm writing this in the middle of the street, so i don't think i'm making a lot of sense but, i'd appreciate all the help i can get.
Have some photos of my cat (Jimmy) :)
Majority of trans people avoid going to GP over transphobia fears
Pink News article on recent TransActual report:
“Ninety-seven per cent of the trans UK public reported dealing with GPs that have little or no knowledge on trans issues, while nearly three quarters have reported avoiding their GP over fears of discrimination.
Of those who had faced issues with their GPs, 60 per cent had been refused non-transition related care because of their gender identity.”
Yes (i.e. my experience too) to all three.

Wanted to join in on the fun drawing that one bit from Scott McCloud's "Understanding Comics" book. :>
I know the joke in my case would have been drawing my fursona in a realistic style but meh, I didn't feel like it. So I drew human me instead. 😅
