The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission @uscpsc has just banned male-male extension cords.

Am I paranoid to suspect that some Trumpie assferret thought this would be funny timing? https://www.threads.com/@uscpsc/post/DWjPEiEjSpn

It's Trans Day of Visibility, but so far today I haven't seen my son. Gotta go roust him and get him fed. #TDOV #TransDayOfVisiblity #EndConversionTherapy #SupportTransYouth #SupportTransRights #TransRightsAreHumanRights
To my trans and nonbinary colleagues, acquaintances, friends, and family. And to all of the trans and nb folks that I have yet to meet. I see you. I see you every day. You matter and you are loved.

Oh hey, it's #TransDayOfVisiblity -- shouting out all my lovely trans friends and sending quiet love to the folks who can't live as themselves because of the shitty policies of governments like my own

Trans rights are human rights. Period.

In general I’ve seen a huge rise in enbyphobia amongst trans people in trans spaces, often demanding separate spaces from non-binary people, being upset as being perceived as even adjacent to them, or in general seeing them as illegitimate because they are not “men” or “women.”

The amount of non-binary hatred I experience, passively and sometimes actively, has not gone unnoticed. I am not alone in this either. I know others who have complained about this. We know enbyphobia when we see it. You aren’t fooling anyone.

It is fine if you want to be seen as a man or a woman. But stop trying to shove us all into the binary boxes, or exclude us from trans spaces. Especially stop seeing us as illegitimate.

Every time I hear “trans women are women” I instantly hear “you’re non-binary so you aren’t even a real person, so shut up and let the real women talk, ok?” It isn’t that I even disagree with the sentiment, it is that I see the subtext behind that sentiment. I feel the exclusion. I feel that I am not considered “really” trans by enormous swaths of the trans community.

Non-binary people threw bricks at Stonewall so you could exist, too.
