Čtvrteční tragická nehoda na Smíchovském nádraží znovu upozornila na dlouhodobě nebezpečný a nepřehledný úsek, kde se mísí intenzivní autobusová doprava s chodci. Ve čtvrtek ráno srazil autobus ženu, která byla následně převezena v umělém spánku do nemocnice. Tam jí amputovali obě nohy. Výhled je na místě omezený a hlavně tam není vhodné přecházet. Davy však úsekem proudí každý den.
