A research paper I co-authored about Tradescantia spathacea has just been published!

There are two results that will be interesting to tradescantia growers.

First, T. spathacea 'Concolor' has been reclassified as a species of its own, Tradescantia concolor.

And second, the dwarf T. spathacea cultivars have been placed in a group, the Bantam Group named after the mini breeds of domestic chicken.
