New here, and by that I mean that this is a brand new instance.

Single user GoToSocial instance, self-hosted on my own hardware; this is not my first. It's just like that scene from the Matrix with the Architect: we just keep torching it and starting over, and we're starting to get pretty damned good at torching it.

I've had a WriteFreely instance before, and I think I might have another one here in the near future, honestly.

People go nuts when a man with Tourette's blurts out a racial slur during a British awards show, but for the President of the US, any hateful comment (ideally laced within lies) is just par for the course.

Tl;dr: Tourette Syndrome, MRI, probably not great.

Quite specific, I know; any kind of advice, from anyone who's dealt with this or with anything similar enough, would be greatly appreciated.

I have a neck MRI today; I also have Tourette Syndrome; my main motor tic is, of course, a neck/head twitch.

Is there anything I can do about this, other than or in addition to simply surpressing my tics?

We've just watched I Swear (about John and his Tourettes) and it's been really emotional.
Told my wife I'd seen a documentary about Tourettes when I was a kid.
Genuinely surprised to learn he was in that documentary.
