Der Italowestern hat ja nie so getan, als wäre er etwa unschuldig. Er hat immer schon die Kulisse aufgerissen und offen gezeigt, dass „der Westen“ nur ein Produkt ist, gebaut aus Mythen und aus Geld. „Soleil rouge“ steht eigentlich genau in dieser Tradition, aber er schiebt sie noch einmal weiter, als würde das ganze Genre hier die Balance verlieren und sich dabei endlich ehrlich machen. Mit Charles Bronson, Alain Delon, Ursula Andress und Toshirō Mifune. (ZDF, Wh.)
