¿Es legal The Pirate Bay?
Sin duda, es un tema interesante.

The amazing story of the Pirate Bay:
The Pirate Bay Remains Resilient, 20 Years After The Raid.
"Instead of shutting it down, the raid propelled The Pirate Bay into the mainstream press, not least due to its swift resurrection. The publicity also triggered a huge traffic spike, exactly the opposite of what Hollywood had hoped for".

Twenty years ago today, dozens of Swedish police officers stormed a Stockholm data center, seizing The Pirate Bay's servers. The entertainment industry hoped the raid would finish the site for good. Instead, the police action inadvertently helped to create one of the most resilient and iconic websites on the Internet, one that remains online today.
I am looking for a shirt.
In 2014, btdigg.org did a fundraising campaign selling Black unisex shirts presumably with Btdigg on them, on the now-defunct platform Ink to the People.
Only 2 were ever sold.
I know it's an extreme longshot, but if you or someone you know had one of these shirts, I'd be interested to hear from you.
It's just a curiosity, nothing more, so I won't expend too many resources investigating this.

I don't know if there are any Lemmy or Reddit communities which would be a good place to ask.
Please boost for reach.
A #torrents #torrenting question.
Anyone know if https://uindex.org/ is safe ?
Something I *love* about things like #RSS/#podcasts, #radio (both physical and internet), or #torrents is that I don’t *have* to ask “permission” to use them.
No account, no access control, just install a client.
And then if, and only if, I feel like it’s worth it, I can use more centralised services that extend the experience. But I can always go back if I change my mind.
I use a cloud drive service to sync my feeds across devices, but I could easily move to a self-hosted solution.
oh no animetosho is shutting down next month😭😭 it was so convenient to discover #anime torrents: it had a search, and individual shows pages where you could see all the torrents per season, and filtering and sorting, and searching inside a season - all i could wish for anime #torrent agregator and everything so convenient😔
it took torrents not only from nyaa, but from some other sources like tokiotosho, nekobt and others
they will release all the data and source code so maybe someone will set up an alternative after the shut down, i hope so
i will warmly remember that site, wish the developer has his rest and opportunites for new projects🙏
(only now i realised it also has links to traditional file sharing style downloadern like you click "download" and the browser downloads a file but who even needs this when there are #torrents which are so much superior to that)
I love torrents, not because they let me pirate films but because it is the obvious way to share large files
