I truly hate the old school financial model of newspapers.. but i still find it important to subscribe to one.
Toronto Star is $27 per month on a normal price... but then you call and it's $5 per month.
Just have to do that dance every year and say you are cancelling and surprise, you got a new price

I'm not convinced it will be so bad, personally. It should be entirely possible to speed up environmental reviews of projects in Canada.
That said, if #StevenGuilbeault objects to current government policies, he could always leave caucus.

Canceling my Toronto Star subscription. Just don't have time to read it right now.
Went to cancel my subscription, and didn't see a cancel button. I luckily waited a few seconds and it magically appeared.
I reloaded the page and the button appears exactly six seconds after the page load finishes. Tested again in a different browser, and on a different PC.
Anybody else seeing this?
That is some shady behavior.
I think I can see why nobody wants to subscribe to newspapers any more.
The incremental cost to them of gaining my business would be very close to zero. They could charge me a dollar a year and still make money.
