Omg 100% this. #toronto #torontoflood . While this rain was crazy for Toronto it isn't even close to the worst I've seen (this would be a normal monsoon day where I grew up) more to the point it looks to be becoming more common. Facing the reality of #climatechange doesn't mean being a doomer, it means preparing for events like this to become more common.

After 11 years almost to the day, Toronto has experienced its second major flooding event, knocking out power, flooding city streets and transit stations. It's a reminder that cities need to better adapt to a changing climate.
