This one is not to pretending to be an IPA at lower ABV. Instead, this is a pale ale with a very good tropical hop at its base.

First sip is solid and flavorful. The slight dryness and bitterness on the back end was predictable after the last beer, and it isn't as strong in this one.

First sip is not the fruit mixture that I thought it was going to be. The hops seem to have brought a dryness, and bitterness is definitely coming along for the ride.

I expected something that was double dry hopped to be busting at the seams with hops and bitterness, but the bitterness is toned down, and that is likely the result of a significant lack of hops.

#topplingGoliath Mornin’ Delight - should’ve got the tall pour - delightful indeed with rich coffee and maple 🍁 notes in a sweet full-body with a hint of vanilla on the finish.

Followed with a #surlyBrewing Darkness, always fabulous on tap, oak and chocolate with a bourbon finish.

Got the usual odd looks drinking a #PrarieArtisanAles BOMB! #imperialStout on a warm summer evening, but damnit it’s SO GOOD! Rich and velvety with coffee, cacao, vanilla, and a hint of chili pepper.

Followed it with a shared #wabashaBrewing Horror Frost white stout, some #TopplingGoliath Rush Hollow Maple Ale, and a #BrauBrothers Moo Joos Red Velvet oatmeal #milkStout

Drinking a #SapwoodCellars collab w/ #TopplingGoliath Firebeast - Imperial Stout brewed w/ Muscovado Sugar, aged in cinnamon and malt whiskey barrels - 13.1%

Cinnamon has died off a bit since September. Don't think it is as good as when fresh, but left Untappd Rating unchanged as I don't like dropping ratings from cellaring beers.
