Just realized there will be a remaster of Tomb Raider IV-VI out on February 14th 2025, it's so close already and there is no question about whether I am going to get that or not.
Not sure how this actually slipped past my attention completly, but I'm so glad I saw it in time to look forward to it now for a bit still.
Well, I haven't even finished the first remaster pack, but that doesn't really matter, I'll do it at some point and I am very happy to get those games back because they kind of feel like home.
Even, if honestly, the controls make me mad and it takes a lot of time to get used to them - I can't say again actually because I've played the games on PC when I was a teen, but in my opinion, it is totally worth it, just for this feeling.
That tiny spot in your heart that becomes warm, when playing the games brings back memories of times long gone…

If you are going to play the new Tomb Raider Remastered collection, DON’T use the ‘modern controls’. I can’t think of a game more designed around its controls than the original Tomb Raider trilogy. The modern control system, though on the surface is smoother, it makes some of the core game mechanics impossible to perform. In summary, ignore them for the original controls.
