Der kleine Kirchhof an der Christuskirche in Langendreer in Bochum. Hier stehen ähnliche Grabsteine, wie wir sie aus Ümmingen, Syburg oder Stiepel kennen.
Natürlich werden sie zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt Teil der Rubrik „Friedhöfe im Ruhrgebiet“ im Blog werden. #TombTuesday

For 5000 years, Cairnholy Chambered Tomb has sat on this hillside, overlooking the Solway Firth, watching the centuries pass and still it is magnificent!

The 16th C tomb of Sir John Salusbury in the White Church outside Denbigh (Dinbych), North #Wales. Despite this record of his likeness, #legend states he was a giant with six fingers, a hero who killed a beast which had its lair in the castle (Dinbych means City of the Beast). #TombTuesday #folklore

Zum heutigen #TombTuesday gibt es Zuwachs in der Rubrik "Friedhöfe im Ruhrgebiet": Ab sofort stelle ich dort den Süd(west)friedhof in Dortmund näher vor.

Vergessen, aber nicht verschwunden. Mitten im Wald auf diesem ehemaligen Friedhof in Dortmund steht noch dieses einsame Steinkreuz – umhüllt von einem goldenen Blätterteppich, bewacht von alten Bäumen. Wer hier ruht, weiß ich nicht. Aber es ist einsam rings um das Grab geworden. #TombTuesday
