Yesterday "everyone" said if #Iran charges a #toll to pass through the #StraitOfHormuz it would be a violation of international shipping rules.

This article says the Strait is not a part of international waters & it belongs to Iran & Oman.

That said, Trump is now proposing a joint deal between the US & Iran to collect tolls. I hope Iran rejects this proposal & the US Congress should reject it as well. All of us know that Trump is pocketing money.
