Passive smoking is a huge problem in Germany, especially since there aren't many rules about smoking in public places (yeah, some spots have those yellow lines, but smoke travels further than a drink, you know?). For example, I was walking once and some guy was puffing away right in front of me. To get away from it, I either had to speed up or cross to the other side of the street (the wrong side!).
