I love how this is called the “Protect #Tennessee Minors Act” from the same #TNGOP that just tried to eliminate the minimum age for marriage in the state, and enacted an #abortion ban so oppressive it forces survivors of rape/incest to have the assaulter’s baby. Not exactly “protecting minors.” Typical #Republican hypocrisy.
#Tennessee has a lot of problems: infant mortality and maternal death rates, poverty, lack of healthcare access, low education spending, and many more.
But the #Republicans in the state legislature have different priorities. They’re busy passing huge corporate tax breaks!
