Remembering Who's Emma Part II

Church of St. Stephen-in-the-Fields, Wednesday, April 15 at 06:00 PM EDT

Next in our bi-weekly zine reading and discussion series, we'll be looking at an OPIRG-curated zine titled "Who's Emma: Selected Readings."

This zine is about the anarcho-punk collective and non-profit store called Who's Emma, which was active in Kensington Market from 1996-2000. We will read the zine together and discuss it as a group. We will also make space for physical and creative exercises that allow for insights to sink in and be felt as a group.

This event follows up on the previous intergenerational anarchist gathering on Feb 22, where we watched and discussed "Remember Who's Emma" together. You can (but don't need to) watch the 30-minute documentary at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llwZIU0vKGU.

Plant-based meal will be provided. Masks are mandatory when not eating and will also be provided. The space is wheelchair accessible with gender-neutral bathrooms and multiple air purifiers.

You can re-share this poster and invite as long it remains off of public social media.
