Nous sommes en Avril et on approche d'un nouvel anniversaire du naufrage du #Titanic, qui s'est produit dans la nuit du 14 au 15 Avril 1912.

Juste pour voir, j'ai tenté de simuler à quoi pouvait bien ressembler le ciel nocturne cette nuit là, en utilisant Stellarium, et en modifiant pas mal de paramètres pour que ça corresponde à ce que l'on pourrait voir, avec la vision humaine bien adaptée à l'obscurité.
J'ai basé ceci sur ma propre expérience du ciel nocturne.

Et ça ressemblerait à ceci. En prenant en compte que la pollution lumineuse était inexistante (surtout en pleine mer), que la Lune n'était pas là, pas un brin de vent, rien. Et c'est difficile d'y voir quelque chose.

Es gab damals(tm), als Twitter noch toll und spannend war, einen Thread, der in Echtzeit die Fahrt der #Titanic nachstellte; also mit zeitgenauen Meldungen und dem genauen Zeitplan ab Auslaufen in Belfast.

Das muss in 2022 gewesen sein, zum 100jährigen Gedenken des Untergangs.

Sowas auf Masto wäre auch interessant.
