* I am not an activist. In fact, for the last several months I've found myself in a state of paralysis. Thank you to those who have been able to move, make angry, beautiful noise, and inspire.
All is dulled to dust.
Particles dance in the winds
as we shield our eyes.
(I promise that the next Haiku I share will be more hopeful.)
Stuck in bed feeling not-too-great, and I'm happy for the slice of sky I can see from my room.
Thanks to this window,
I can watch the birds fly by
from my lonely nest.
