War movie meets sci-fi what-if. Interior shots were in the real Nimitz with 48 of its personnel in the closing credits; some had speaking roles. A camera operator was swept off the deck by jet exhaust & landed in a net. The Zeros were at full throttle & F-14s at stall speed to be in the same shot.
Thesis: The week from Christmas to New Year's is an unknowable #TimeVortex because so many people are home from work and aren't doing any shopping.
In other words, we are currently dependent on #capitalism for even such a basic function as knowing what day of the week it is.
