Così in un lungo sfogo su Tiktok, diventato virale, la creator americana Jools LeBron ha raccontato davanti alla telecamera l’ultimo anno della sua vita.
La creator ha voluto condividere con i follower la sua lotta contro le dipendenze e la sua fuga dal “sistema Hollywood. Dopo alcuni video, grazie anche ai commenti sotto i suoi contenuti, la tiktoker ha annunciato di voler riprendere in mano la sua vita, determinata a diventare una vera “streamer” e a tornare sobria.
La fama è arrivata improvvisamente dopo alcuni video diventati virali e la 32enne ha dichiarato di non essere pronta alla popolarità, alle feste, alle droghe. Un mondo nel quale, appunto, è stata catapultata senza essere preparata.
“Sono andata agli eventi – racconta – la gente si ubriacava fino a perdere i sensi. C’erano i miei influencer e celebrità preferite e purtroppo cedo alla pressione dei pari“. Una pressione che l’ha portata ad avere dipendenze da alcol, droghe, shopping e a ricercare l’approvazione maschile. Nella serie di video in cui racconta delle sue dipendenze, LeBron mostra anche tutti i suoi acquisti compulsivi, tra cui un megacomputer da 8000 dollari e una macchina fotografica da 900.
L’influencer ha così mostrato l’altra faccia della popolarità mettendoci, letteralmente “la faccia” e ha ricevuto soprattutto commenti di sostegno, tra chi le fa i complimenti per il suo essere vera e altri che condividono il difficile percorso delle dipendenze.

That’s what American creator Jools LeBron recounted in a long TikTok rant, which went viral, in front of the camera about the last year of her life.
The creator wanted to share with her followers her struggle with addiction and her escape from the “Hollywood system.” After some videos, thanks also to the comments under her content, the tiktoker announced she wanted to take back control of her life, determined to become a real “streamer” and return to sobriety.
Fame arrived suddenly after some videos went viral, and the 32-year-old stated she wasn’t ready for the popularity, the parties, the drugs. A world in which, precisely, she was thrown without being prepared.
“I went to events – she recounts – people got drunk until they lost consciousness. There were my favorite influencers and celebrities, and unfortunately, I gave in to peer pressure.” A pressure that led her to have addictions to alcohol, drugs, shopping, and to seek male approval. In the series of videos where she recounts her addictions, LeBron also shows all her compulsive purchases, including a $8,000 mega-computer and a $9,000 camera.
The influencer thus showed the other side of popularity, literally “the face” of it, and received mostly supportive comments, from those who complimented her for being true to herself to those who share the difficult path of addiction.
