Das #TIDRADIO #G18 ist ein sogenanntes #PoC- #Funkgerät ( #Push_to_Talk_over_Cellular ), das über das #Mobilfunknetz funktioniert.
In diesem Video erkläre ich die Technik, den Unterschied zu klassischen #Funkgeräten und zeige, für welche Einsatzzwecke sich diese Art der Kommunikation eignet unter anderem auch auf dem Boot, im Hafen oder unterwegs.

Folks will try and tell you that you can use a different model radio to program via chirp, but don't, if you want repeater offsets to work.. 🤔🤔
I can confirm however that TD-H8 2nd/3rd gen batteries work with them. Good since they don't offer spare batteries to order yet.
Con mi #TidRadio estuve al tanto en cada momento del corte eléctrico que nos dejó en un blackout por casi 6 horas. Ya sin señal en el celular, con mi radio pude estar pendiente de varios asuntos a la vez que sintonizaba la #Biobio. Si o si este mes o el otro termino de construir mi antena en la casa, y tratare de hacerme con una radio base.
TIDRADIO H3 Ham.
As I haven't quite got an antenna installed at my new rental place yet (for my stationary radios). Got something portable. I discovered this on Facebook - yes the site occasionally does show interesting stuff. Extremely good value like under $80 with Bluetooth app, USB-C and a decent screen.
Just got it and I'll test it out later. The ham radio community in Tasmania is quite enthusiastic and friendly and once I have time to pop up on the domain I'll show it off.
Po 67 minutach #SierraEcho się zorientował, że JESZCZE nie zaczął hakować tego Tidradia, więc... musiał spytać o zgodę na przedłużenie LAJW 😆 No i iść po drugą herbatę 🤪
W końcu w 81 min. Andrzej podłączył #Tidradio do kompa. Potem wkręcił antenę, bo czat go ostrzegł że radio może nadawać w trakcie wgrywania firmware'u. I... stream padł 😳
Czy to #Tidradio zhakowało Andrzeja? Nie - to UPS się psuje. Kolejne 10 minut, cała uwaga na ̶T̶i̶d̶r̶a̶d̶i̶u̶ UPSie...
Dzisiejszy #SierraEcho: zgodnie z tematem LAJW, którym dziś było hackowanie #Tidradio TD-H3, dziś w programie przeszło godzina gadaniny o czwartym wierceniu dziur na zlew w busie, piesek kradnący skarpetki, a Andrzej dosłownie został upomniany 😆 o 20:57 że ma zrobić Mariana SQ5AKY.
Nawet paczkę otworzył jakieś 10 minut po położeniu jej na stół 🤣

Not that I really need another HT - but Amazon had this #TIDRadio H3 with 2 TD-771 Antennas (One tuned for air band, the other tuned for 2m/440) for just $37 dollars.
It seemed like a deal I couldn't pass up.
The reviews for the radio are generally good, so I think I'll like this one. Haven't really had a chance to use it.
It is smaller then I was expected for a radio with the features it has. So for size comparison I included a picture of some other radios.
