"Due to widespread #endothelial dysfunction and thrombosis, #COVID19 has the ability to affect nearly any organ. Pulmonary disease, specifically ARDS, may be driven in large part by vascular dysfunction & #microvascular thrombosis. Increased thrombotic events, most notably venous #thromboembolism but also myocardial infarction and stroke, have been reported. Vascular dysfunction may contribute #neurologic, renal & dermatologic manifestations
