Il Fatto Quotidiano: Undici persone bloccate in un hotel a Serramonacesca in Abruzzo sotto tre metri di neve: attivato l’esercito

Non si fermano i disagi causati dall’ondata di meteo avverso che ha colpito, in particolare, Abruzzo, Molise e Marche. Nel comprensorio sciistico della Majella, a cavallo tra la provincia di Pescara e Chieti, nel versante pescarese di Passo Lanciano, undici persone risultano bloccate all’interno di un hotel, completamente isolato a causa delle abbondanti nevicate.
Attorno alla struttura ricettiva ci sono tre metri di neve ed entrambe le strade di accesso risultano impraticabili.
Per raggiungere l’hotel, nel territorio comunale di Serramonacesca, si è attivato anche il Nono Reggimento Alpini dell‘Esercito che sta cercando di effettuare un intervento per evacuare la struttura.
“Stiamo tutti bene e abbiamo viveri a volontà. Al momento nella struttura ci sono il personale, tecnici Anas che erano impegnati nella pulizia delle strade e sono rimasti bloccati qui e alcune persone che erano in montagna e che abbiamo accolto, altrimenti avrebbero dovuto passare la notte in macchina”, fanno sapere dalla struttura, spiegando di essere circondati da “oltre tre metri di neve” e di non sapere quanto tempo impiegherà l’esercito per raggiungerli.
Anche altre aree, soprattutto nel Chietino, sono completamente isolate a causa del maltempo, che va avanti ormai da tre giorni, e degli allagamenti. I paesi di Colledimezzo e Fraine, riferisce la Protezione civile regionale, sono al momento isolati. A Castiglione Messer Marino un’altra struttura alberghiera in località Santa Maria è rimasta isolata ed è in corso l’evacuazione con mezzo cingolato. All’interno c’erano sei ospiti. In alcuni casi mancano energia elettrica e gas.
Diverse aree tra Abruzzo e Molise risultano sepolte sotto metri di neve. A Schiavi d’Abruzzo, piccolo comune nel Chietino, la neve ha ricoperto il paese e il sindaco inizia a lanciare l’allarme sul costo del riscaldamento.
