I'm not usually someone who goes out of the way to chase gas savings, but I'd say it was worth it to drive an extra 2-3 miles from California to Arizona the other day to save a few DOLLARS per gallon!
By the time we got there, we actually saved $3.10 PER GALLON from what it would have cost us if we just got it in CA. Crazy, right?

Got to enjoy some hiking at Palo Duro Canyon State Park in Canyon, TX yesterday (near Amarillo). It's the second largest canyon in the U.S. and it's beautiful to see. We did our hiking in the morning before it got too hot. It's a cool place to visit if you're ever out this way!

It may have only been 60°at the beach yesterday but I'll take that ambiance anyday over an Ohio winter!
Amelia Island in Florida is a really cool place with 13 miles of free beach access along with a cool small-town feel in the historic district. Glad we stopped to check it out. We'll definitely be back again sometime!
